house system
Council
Once all students have been issued a house, they will remain in that respective House until graduation.
The elected house representatives of the respective House shall meet for the purpose of achieving a common set of goals, namely, the enrichment of their lives through education in an organized high school community. This community is composed of various intellectual, cultural, social and sport bodies, which through mutual concern for the school and each other, attempt to develop the whole student.
There are three positions available for each house: a Junior Leadership Council Representative, a Senior House Leadership Council Representative, and a Chief Leader Council Representative who will represent his/her respective house. Each school year, these Representatives are voted for by the students body.
This school year marks the beginning of a new phase of our House System. Each student has been assigned a Homeroom based on his/her House. They will be a part of this Homeroom until they graduate. Homerooms are multi-level.
Students participate in a variety of cultural and athletic activities and are awarded house points for participation. Points are also allotted for academics as well. The House with the most points will be recognized at the end of the year with a trophy and prize!
